DownTown Mystic<\/strong><\/span> is the alter ego of American Rocker, Robert Allen<\/strong>, whose passion for \u201cold school\u201d recording borders on obsession. Robert is joined by a stellar cast of musicians, including drummer extraordinaire Steve Holley<\/strong> (Paul McCartney\/Wings\/Elton John\/Ian Hunter) & urban legend Paul Page<\/strong> (Dion\/Ian Hunter) on bass, as well as one of the great rhythm sections in the history of American Rock\u2019nRoll\u2013Max Weinberg<\/strong> & Garry Tallent<\/strong> of Bruce Springsteen\u2019s E Street Band<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Radio has also played a crucial role in the career of DownTown Mystic. Radio airplay in over 50<\/strong> countries has helped to bring the music to a worldwide audience. It started with veteran tastemaker, Jed The Fish<\/strong>, playing a DownTown Mystic track as his \u201cCatch of The Day\u201d<\/em><\/strong> on \u201cWorld Famous\u201d KROQ<\/strong> in LA, one of the most influential rock stations in the US. This would be followed by the \u201cMayor of The Sunset Strip\u201d, legendary KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer <\/strong>playing another track, leading to national airplay. <\/span><\/p>\n
